Three Year Olds
A developmentally appropriate curriculum is planned using the Diocese of Nashville Curriculum, Keeping Kids Safe curriculum, units and themes. Small group experience with their primary teachers are planned each day. During this time, students are grouped by developmental range. Each teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities that meet the needs of the individual student in the group. The daily program includes free choice time designed to all each student to choose which centers interest them, and then allows them to interact in small group. The interest center may include, but are not limited to, art, science, dramatic play, blocks, literature, music, sand or water, wood working, small motor/manipulatives, large motor, etc. Special effort is made to balance individual, group, quiet and active time. This process develops the expansion of their attention span and prepares students to progress to the pre-k program.

We have two, three year old classrooms. The Lambeosaurus classroom with Mrs. Jennifer Schmitt and Mrs. Jacki Neal and the Three Horns classroom with Mrs. Janice Meacham and Mrs. Jill Fonte.
