The Pre-K program uses a comprehensive curriculum that includes the Diocese of Nashville curriculum, Keeping Kids Safe curriculum, units and themes to prepare students for a smooth transition into kindergarten. Students learn through play and direct instruction. Small groups of students independently work on (pre) reading, (pre) math, (pre) science and (pre) social study skills. Activities are planned which foster the whole development and enrichment of the student.
We have three Pre-K classes. The Brontosaurus room with Mrs. Elaine Sears and Mrs. Jeanine Carreras. The Stegosaurus room with Mrs. Brenda Lupoli and Mrs. Judy Speck. And the Titanasaurus room with Mrs. DeAnne Hathaway and Mrs. Lisa Sagman.
